Hi all, I am a new to this website, as I have only just acquired myself a new 2014 CJ Lancer ES sport and thought, for understanding the car, it would be good to join a group like this. My lancer is pretty well stock, has fog lights and scuff plates, but I might expand that list in the near future, but being a uni dent and recently buying a new car, I don't really have much money to play with. I hope to eventually build a relation with his club and looking forward to communicating with you in the future

Yours

Mark Cane

Heya Mark! Welcome to the club!

Question - are your foglights factory fitted or did you do them yourself? Because I've heard that our cars are set up differently to previous models and I wouldn't mind having a look at them if you ever hit up a cruise!

hi kfresh

I got the fog lights when I bought the car, they were throwing extras at me in the sales room, the fog lights look like the black things, just with a light in it, you might be ale to see it in the profile picture.

Yeah, they LOOK like the normal stock foggies, but last time I tried to buy an aftermarket set I was told that they wouldn't fit the newer models. Maybe the wiring harness on the backside is different? Either way - come to a meet! :P haha

Heya Mark
Welcome to the club!
There's plenty of info on this site. Just beware that the 'mod bug' bites hard. Once you start modding its hard to stop.
Try to get out to one of our meets/cruises. Its a great way to see all our cars and check out all the different mods. We have a meet every month, usually towards the end of the month. I'm in the process of organizing this months one, so keep an eye on the SA section.

Welcome to CCJ!

Nothing wrong with stock, mine was for first year. Take the time to think about what you want to do, check out members garages or the better yet check out other members mods by getting to a meet.
