Michael from Sydney

Postby greywolfe » Thu May 08, 2014 7:33 pm

Hi all, new 09 Ralliart owner here, based on Sydney's southern beaches.

On the lookout for a good and reasonably priced mechanic in the Sydney area to service the car. Would rather keep away from the stealerships if possible.

Cheers!

Hi Michael, and welcome.
Don't know of a mech in Sydney South area.
2009 VRX Sedan - K&N Typhoon air intake with pod filter and heat shield, Greddy SP elite axel back exhaust with chrome tip, RRM ECU fuel management system, RRM 4-1 headers.

Welcome!
Can we get a more specific area so that we can recommend a good mechanic for you?

I work in Artarmon and live in Cronulla, so I have few options as to locations :) Stupid amounts of mechanics in Artarmon, just wondering if anyone has preferences for one over another.

When you find one, if still in doubt, take a pic or mark things that need to be replaced such as oil filter, air filter etc. If the mark is still there after the service then give them trouble lol but hopefully you don't have to take it that far

Yeah I'm happy to take a hand to the standard service items (warranty runs out august), its the fiddly ones that I'd rather a mechanic run their eye over. Only just hit 76k km on this baby.
