Hey I'm Dave from Brisbane, I got a 2011 CJ ES Lancer. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on cheap places to source body kit parts from and / or a way to know if the part is a 100% legal
because i was emailing to and fro with Body Kit Kingdom and they tried to sell me a fibreglass hood which i have heard is illegal because it can detach from the hinges and decapitate the driver in a head on collision.

Welcome Dave, yes your right with the hood. If you want a different hood only legal one is aluminium ones from evo or ralliart. The rest of the stuff the sell is ok. I've heard Mars is best for quality though. Do a search of the forum lots of info.

Hi Dave! Welcome to the forum.
Lol buy anything that's NOT FRP or Carbon Fibre etc. Make sure it's either PP or PU. BKK also sells a steel piece too. Always check our eBay thread for bonnets. I snatched one from there.

Although i have no experience with modifications so I dont know how to check all that gets done
