Griffin80 wrote:Hey Guys, Been reading the forums lately and thought I should register and say hello instead of lurking! I own a Lancer 2011 SX, plan on making some mods to it, recently added rims, next I want to lower the car just to remove the gap above the wheel, I hope to do some research on here tonight and tomorrow to see what choices everyone else made when lowering their cars. I am a bit cautious about lowering the car as the rims are 19 and I really dont want to keep rubbing. I have been looking at the xforce dual exhaust, which sounds pretty good! I am from the St George area in Sydney. Thx :D

I lowered mine at Ozzy Tyres aswell before i fitted on Coilovers, they did a good job on mine, but just make sure that it looks even, when they did mine, my rear ended up abit lower than the front which looked quiet wierd at first lol

Welcome to the club!

Griffin80 wrote:Thanks for the welcome all ;) I spoke to Ozzy Tyres when i bought my rims and they recommended keeping the same springs when they lower the car for me in the next few weeks? Probably see you all on the 23rd then.

Are your tyres rubbing already? If so I'd re come d changing your springs when you go lower.
