Hi

After a few years of lusting, I finally bought a 2009 VRX

Came across this forum when I was googling any common issues before giving the dealer the bank's money, so thought I should stop in and say 'hi' and 'thanks'!

I know there's some dislike for the CVT (not just here, I might add!), but I cant believe how smooth the drive is, and I still haven't lost the smile, yet!

Nah, no mods planned, yet, only had it 4 days!

I'm pretty happy with the specs, as-is, for the moment

I've always loved the styling of the Lancer, so stoked I got this!

Only 12,000 ks so practically brand-new

The cruise sounds like a cool idea - I fear that I'm a bit older than most of you, though

I really couldn't believe the condition and low ks for a 4yr-old

The previous owner took just about every upgrade option (full-size spare, headlight/bonnet protectors, Lancer seat covers) and then didn't drive it!

No MMCS/reverse camera, though

My age starts with a 3, so maybe I'm not the oldest on here?

Where's the link to the next car cruise?

Only thing I saw was plans for last Sunday, and a poll for a catch up next Easter.

What's the usual turn out numbers for these catch ups?

I assume the photo in TrojanHorse's sig is from one?

It is one of the SA mini meets Mark (SIX) and me (VRX_08) organised earlier this year!
