Hey guys/gals!!
New member to these forums and I am looking at getting into a RA or Evo sometime in the near future, hence I thought I'd sign up and get reading. This seems like a great forum with lots of useful information and everyone seem really friendly.
Well a little bit about my car history. Initially owned a swift and then 'upgraded' to a legnum VR4. They are an awesome sleeper wagon and sometimes I wish I never sold it. Now I drive a RA Colt and it is an awesome car as well. Light on its feet with some decent power. I have a few nice mods on it atm but decided that not gonna spend another cent on it (only maintenance) so I can get evo/RA quickly.
Anw looking forward to meeting some of you at meets/cruises in the future.
Cheers!

Ya they are a nice car..they are capable of decent power (without a turbo upgrade) but getting that power to the ground can sometimes prove tricky (an LSD would be great but too ex)
Well in the near future I will have to sell her and not looking forward but on the other hand I can finally get the car I have always wanted. The question is should I go for an 8MR/9 or the RA?

I think the consensus is if you want something hard core then th Evo's are the way to go. The RA is more a compromise I think. Suitable for a daily drive but with the fun factor of the Evo's provided. From what I gather the Evo's make it hard to have it as a daily.

I bought a evo because it was a evo. It was my intention to have it as my daily. It serves the need so easily and every day is FUN!

Allways loved the Colt Ralliart...fantastic car and a real little weapon. When i bought my RA i went into the dealer looking at an Evolution (wanted a GTR35 but 20g over budget) I think he really wanted to sell it to me because he gave it to me overnight so really had it for 2 days....Im over the age where i look as though i would have thrashed it LoL. After a lot of pleading and the salesman coming up with excuses i finally got to test drive a RA...i know why he did... I bought a Ralliart

My evo X is my daily drive... while it is an absolute blast i have days where i wish i had bought the RA... sometimes having a more relaxed ride would be nice... then you hit boost and that need goes away!
I dunno... its a tough call, especially since most of the running gear on the RA is from the evo 9 and with a few light mods you get good power from it
