Hello
My name is Tom (nz_kiwi) & I'm in my mid fifties (though young at heart) & I live in the central North Island area of New Zealand.
I just want to say hello to you all. I have to say I love your site. Loads of great information. I have just changed from a Mitsubishi 380 VRX to the 2012 Lancer SEI with an Eclipse AVN827GA unit installed by Mitsubishi at the time of purchase. Great car. Anyway, greetings to you all.
regards Tom

Thanks for the welcome guys.
An Eclipse unit is a double din Nav/Audio system that Mitsubishi NZ uses as a factory option because for some reason the don't have THE MMCS units. The unit is fully wired into the car with voice/ steering wheel controls etc.
Actually, it's a pretty good unit as it has multiple input options such as, IPOD, USB, DVD, CD, BLUETOOTH, CD, FM, AM. Full voice control for the GPS & the system will receive sms, mms & e-mail from a paired Bluetooth phone it will read these out to you via the screen.
I have put the link to their web site below.

Thanks.
I have to say that one of the reasons I brought the SEI (can you get this version in OZ?)version & not the VRX model was the fact that it doesn't have a spoiler. I used to hate trying to wash my old 380 VRX because the spoiler was sat quite low on the boot & was a real pain. Plus being a smaller car the lancer is a lot easier to wash overall.
