Hey there everyone, just a bit of 'getting to know you' -
My name is Ian, I live in Western Sydney and own a White 2008 CJ Lancer ES sedan. Yes it is the CVT version - but I'm on a Uni student's income driving to Uni or work everyday so economy was somewhat a priority.
My general interest is anything mechanical, which lead my to study Engineering at Uni.
Currently my Lancer is pretty stock seeing as I have only owned it for 2 weeks. In that time I have:
-Given it a full fluid service including all filters, spark plugs, etc just for peace of mind.
-Had the windows tinted 35% LT Black all around
-Installed a 2 1/4" high flow cat-back exhaust system
-Installed brighter/whiter headlight globes
-Hung a pretty sweet air freshener from the mirror.
As for the future:
-Searching for a nice set of 18" 225/45/18 rims and tyres (that's soon to come) to replace the *shudder* stock steels and hubcaps.
-Blackout the front grill
-Possibly some body work including front lip, spoiler etc.
-Possibly upgraded intake; but I haven't done nearly enough research to see if it is worth it.
I found out about Club CJ through Google searches, trying to find useful information and this site kept popping up with valuable information so I figured it was time to join.
