ClubCJ - The CJ Lancer Club

Just bought a 2007 VR Lancer looking for the best info, usually comes from owners so I thought this would be the place.
I so far have put about 2,000 k on it and find it great to drive, although I think the 5th gear could have been a bit taller, uses more petrol on the freeway than my old magna. (I've been a Mitsubishi man for some time, 3 magna's in various states of repair disrepair mod)

If anyone can tell me, I found a cable, with a plug, looks like it belongs to an ipod but no audio option, hanging loose in the glove box, could this be for the rain sensor, which does not work atm, if not what the hell is it, the dealer won't help(probably because I didn't buy it from them), nut the light sensor does work and I thought they were one and the same thing. Any info appreciated. Looking at some King springs on ebay to bring the car down 30 ml any opinions on this or which shocks to go with?

comes out from under the dash, which is why i initially thought it was a audio thing, might be for a nav or something like that, but I was thinking they might have unplugged the wiper sensor at the dealer because of its sensitivety to dust etc, in any case, I'm a bit bewildered, not up on newish cars, if it was a hq holden......

That cable is the MP3 connectivity plug... u connect it to ure mp3 then hold the CD button on ure radio unit to get aux to play music from ure mp3 thru ure car speakers

looks like a headphone jack to plug in a MP3 player/phone
