I have an email from Mitsubishi stating that the privacy glass has a 94% UV filtration rate. No need to UV filter the privacy glass any more than it is. I sent an email asking the question about UV and privacy glass, as I didn't want to pay extra $$ for clear UV film on the privacy glass only to waste money and for it to be scratched later anyway!
Even standard glass has a high UV rating.
For example, many photochromic glasses won't work in cars because there is not enough UV entering the vehicle through the glass to activate the darkening chemicals in the lenses.
