@ Doreen No worries! Great to hear from you. Lmao, I had no idea what diffusers were!!! So thanks for that! $1000 - ouch! We got some quotes this week for exhausts, depending on what we get done, they've ranged from $250 to $1200. We really don't want to spend more than $500.
I was gonna ask you if you were going on the Entrance Cruise. Yep, we're going, I think both the kids are coming as well. Our son is 15 and our daughter is 9. Our daughter wants to come for sure and our son says he does too but he could always change his mind at the last minute - he's a teenager after all!!! If he wants to stay home that's fine.... my folks live next door so I don't mind leaving him at home. It would be great to meet you and the others, so yeah I'm really looking forward to it. I really hope you can come.
Lol, yeah I know what you mean. We haven't made any mods except for the spoiler which was put on by the dealer. Might have our exhaust by then but I doubt it. I'm buying the front air dams next week...... can't wait to get them!!! Then we still want to get new wheels and eventually a really good stereo. So don't worry, we'll be in the same boat!
I'll try to PM you but I don't think I'm allowed to yet, not enough posts or something I think. Bye for now! Michelle
@ LZY EYE You've got a point! And lol at wanting to fill up the car park!!!

Hi Doreen, I sent you a PM, did you get it? Yeah, I had to reach 20 posts!!
I've been to The Entrance, yonks ago. I quite like it up there, but I must admit I'm a South Coast girl!!! I was brought up in the Hurstville area but we always holidayed down the South Coast when I was growing up and still do now. So yeah, we rarely head north so this will be good! Something different!
Yeah, Shane's been really helpful re the exhaust. He's given me lots of good advice and info. Looks like we're gonna go for the rear muffler with a chrome tip.
I checked out your LEDS, they look awesome. I would love some of those as well! I highly recommend a spoiler, we had ours put on by the dealer - I love it!
OK, the air dams. I'm gonna try to post a couple of pics so I can show you. Lol, I don't believe I'm explaining car things to someone on here - I actually know something Anyway, you know on the VR under the foggies, how there are those two extended bits of the bumper that sort of curve in? Well on the VRX you've got ones that flare out, they're the air dams. Sorry I'm not more technical - you're probably wondering what on earth I'm talking about. Check out the pics and see if you know what I mean!!!! Anyway, to me the car looks unfinished without them so they're on the top of my wish list. I contacted David at X Factor and he gave me a really good price - $240 including freight.

Hey DOREEN, glad you knew what I was waffling on about! They look awesome, huh? I wanted them put on by the dealer at the same time as the spoiler but he said they couldn't put just the air dams on and that the only way to get them was to change the whole bumper or something which was gonna cost way too much so we didn't get them done. I wasn't happy. Obviously that wasn't true, or maybe it was back then, I don't know....
I've seen that LED thread.......... am gonna have to add them to my wish list. Want to get the air dams and exhaust done first and then the wheels so I think my LEDs are gonna have to wait a while
To put a picture in as your avatar you need to upload your pics to a site like photobucket and then link them to your profile - well that's how I do it unless there's another way..... I will PM you.
BTW, really glad you're coming to the meet!
Ciao for now!
Hi SHANE, just curious, but are the Talon air dams called front pods by any chance? I was on their website and they've got something on there called front pods, I'm assuming that they're air dams....... and I'm probably wrong!
Also, are the air dams hard to get on? Did you do yours yourself or did you get someone to put them on for you? Kal wants to give them a go but I'm not so sure......... I'd rather take them somewhere to have them put on professionally if that's possible. Thanks!
