Howdy!!!

Postby OFFON-4 » Wed Jan 13, 2010 10:54 am

Hi All,

Names Dave....Currently own a shit box 98 MR lancer and close to completing a 6 year long project which is a dedicated 1994 Lancer GSR Drag car (and yes it is a 1.8ltr)

Good mates with Nick (PMR) who has promised me i get first dibs on the 2011 Ralliart Lancer when it comes in manual (fingers crossed) otherwise i was going to buy one in May but hopefully the 2011 is on the cards!

Hope to be crusing in the near future with some, took Nicks car for a test drive and was instantly in love!

Anyway thanks for the invite Nick :P

Welcome to the club Dave. The article says the Ralliart in 2011, so that may be the 2012 model at the end of the year. Who knows. Just need to watch the US market as they seem to get all their cars 6 months b4 us.

Welcome.

In theory couldent you bolt a manual to the RA since its the same 2lt engine (with mods) as a normal lancer.

Stick in a heavy duty clutch and go from there.

I dont think the RA puts out enough to break a stock gearbox

Thanks all for the warm welcome, looks like i may have to settle for the SST RA (not that its a bad thing) :)

Some pics of the car can be seen on

I see if i can get a few more, currently the car is @ APC in QLD being finalised. I belive they are currently fitting the moulder perspex windows all round so very close to being tuned
