WooHoo!! New ACT member and an Aspire to boot... and it's BLACK!!
Finally I might get some response to my ACT posts in the NSW & ACT section. *fingers crossed*

You'll recognise my ride if you see it around; it's the only Black RX in Canberra with ClubCJ.net decals.

- For the record, my RX had to come from Brissy too.

1. I ordered my car launch weekend, 27th September 2007. No such thing as an Aspire back then.

2. They are CVT only. Don't like the CVT myself. Had the auto box been the TC-SST like the RA/Evo I'd be all for it.

Because they didn't have Aspires in '08 would be my guess.

Thank you all for a warm welcome. Dealer has a car wash and give 150 coupons to be used over the period of 3 years. It is Commonwealth Motors. And yes, it is on lease

I enquired last August about the Lancers. The dealer showed me a Olympic model that was sold, and mentioned the Aspire's were coming out in September. Leather, HID's, reversing camera, MMCS,Auto with paddle shifts,2.4L, etc.
When they came in October, I bought mine. I believe I was the first in S.A.
My point the dealers new in August 08 the Aspires were coming, I was lucky my salesmen was really honest and told me to wait, rather then by the VRX in auto. I would not have got the leather, MMCS and the 2.4L.
Saying that I probably would have bought a Mazda SP23 instead.
