Welcome Doga. Interesting car, here in Australia our Lancers are either 2lt or 2.4lr. Include a photo of your car if you can. Is it similar to ours? Obviously different country varied set ups. More importantly details and picture of your engine so we can try and find reasonable answers to any information you need. :)

Thx for answers 1.6 engine code 4a92 117 ps and 154 nm torq. İn Turkey car tax rates based on engine volume , not emission rates. This reason we only see 1.5,1.6 and 1.8.cvt lancer. İn turkey we have only 500 1.8 cvt lancer. My car is here http://i.hizliresim.com/LQ27V0.jpg

Welcome to the forum

I can't imagine a 1.6 or 1.8 (non turbo) in the CJ, drove a new Pulsar with the 1.8 and it just felt so slow.

I do wonder why we never got the diesel option here in Australia, yes I know it would be slower but with so many other small cars on the market with them why not?

Engine is different but the rest is the same. Check pictures of our engine bay if its the same, RaliArt inlet snorkel could be worthwhile.
All other mods should be possible ie: suspension, Bling body wheels etc: :D
