I'm sure that Merlin can tune the colt and the Lancer.

I am like you and have an interest in tuning our cars. I have spent many many hours data logging and checking rom tunes to see what the differences are etc.

The best thing about a Merlin tune is you sit in the drivers seat and see what is going on. You can ask questions. After the day you have an awesome car and walk away felling you have a better understanding of your car and tuning.

I have a friend though the Colt group who is awesome with the colt ECU. He has spend ages digging through it. Im running one of his tunes slightly modifed so the Colt is right where it needs to be.

Im pretty excited about this tune. What effect did it have on your car Aspir3?

I have 25-30% more power and torque mainly in the lower rev range, more fuel efficient and a lot more responsive.

The car is just better to drive.

Sounds good. Everyone wants more power but my main issue with the car is the CVT. Was the transmission adjusted at all?

No. I've discussed this with Merlin and it's possible but it would require a heap of investigation.

I personally find the cvt great. Comfortable and smooth for ever day driving and fun around the hills with the paddle shifts. I use to find the noise annoying but with headers and full exhaust and 2 boxes of dynomat it's okay now.
