So does anyone know which sunroof Mitsubishi use ?
What is the brand ?

I think that the only difference between the factory optioned sunroof and a prestige fitted sunroof might be the brand of sunroof used. Structurely the prestige fitted roof is just as sound as the factory optioned one and they do have drainage aswell.

You don't need to be sorry, I value and appreciate your input, I think maybe I should have started a new thread to discuss the whole sunroof thing, maybe others might have had something to say, but it's a bit hidden in this "Hello, I'm new here" thread

All good anyway..

I have a factory fitted sunroof in my VRX and I can tell you it is vastly different to an aftermarket sunroof.
All the Lancers start on the same production line but DO split up further down the construction process depending on model/trim level etc
The Evos branch out for further reinforcing and lighter componetry and NO sunroof for structural integrity being largely aluminium and alloy in construction - The VRX with sunroof/fosgate upgrade has a different turret, as it has far more bracing, drainage and sheetmetal replacements to compensate for the hole. They are heavier and just as rigid for that reason. 8)
