Your newest CJ enthusiast.
Hey everyone,
I have owned this lancer for about three weeks!
2008 LANCER CJ ES
Bought for $7,500
Stock standard at 119,000Kms
4cyl Manual 2.0L 113kW
Alloy wheels with month old tyres.
Drives fantastically compared to my very first car (temp).
When i need the power all i need to do is leave it in the lower gears, so its also great to control economically under 2000's revs
So far i have currently:
¬ Plasti Dip'd grill and emblems
¬ Replaced cabin and boot lights with Bright Blue LED's
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/180965122419?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
¬ Installed Fusion CS-AT1100 Subwoofer (shakes the shit out of the car)
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271280235017?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
¬ Replaced gear shift nob

They look great man, gives your car a cool little touch.
In the packet i got 3 LED's for $20, so i decided to solder them in series to get a brighter look, worked great! Trial and error i busted two 15amp fuses doing this . The fuse is located behind the glove box
The same type of LED fits the boot light, so maybe only use two for the cabin light as i had to order a 4th one.

I had no idea it was called the map lights haha! The shape of the LED's are literally just a tiny bit wider than the normal stock light, fantastic fit if you just decide to put one in.
For my installation the positive connection was slightly tarnished, so i noted which side was which (+/-). I soldered them all in series, (you can tell which way they go by just holding it to the two ends). Then i soldered two external wires which hooked into the the slot and pushed the plastic cover back into place. unhook your negative battery terminal when trying to hook them in as you will most likely have to bed the wires into place! BOOM, BLUE BOLT INTERIOR
