el3ment wrote:Dude... UR boost pill you can get from Alan (aka Megatron) here http://akracing.com.au/ Look near the bottom. $28 for the pill. Then you can get the GST tune free online, but need the tactrix. Depends how much tuning you wanna do, it may be worth getting the tactrix. Otherwise, get merlin or someone with a tactrix to upload the tune. Its a 5min job. However, 3port is better. You dont get more power from it, but it will hold boost better in higher RPM, where as the boost pill drops off. So you get better acceleration with the 3-port... Either way, its the cheapest and best mod you can do on the ralliart. Once tuned, it will be quicker than a stock evo :)

hey thorsten, thankyou for the link dude I was looking for it but couldn't find megatron:/ this does look like the ams pill, do these guys ship for free? pay online or over the phone?
do you know where I can buy the three port?
also did you flash your car your self or did you have someone custom tune it for you?

3port costs about 135 Vs the pill for less than 1/2 of that.
I use 3ports when I tune most of the time.

map switching - you need to get the tank as empty as possible then fill up on the new fuel.

thanks beeble, it does sound like if i want to go down that route (duel fuel) ill be paying way more that I had in mind, so for now i'm going to stick to the boost pill and 98 tune.
btw can i say goodbye to my warranty with this modification? i got 2 months left lol :P

My car is about 7 months old. And pretty much maxed out stock turbo :D could always reflash stock map and go for warranty if needed.

maybe 1 in 10 cars will do it.
the issue is at cruise at like 1800rpm in 5th or 6th gear, the revs jump around a bit (clutches are not clamped properly)

I see so this happens in which mode; normal, sport or SS, or in all?
is SS mode even worth doing, is there dangers to the tranny, these things are damn expensive from what i've heard.

if your gearbox is working fine then personally i wouldnt bother, LC is not that useful with a RA turbo, it comes in at 5 grand which is when the little TD04 is pretty well spent.

i have it btw but it wasnt viable until i installed the TD05 (evo turbo) imo.

SS is good but only in manual, in auto youd never get out of third gear around town.

it does tighten up the clutches though.

and theres the rev hunt around 1800/2000 which is annoying specially since 2000 is about 80kph in 6th.
