Postby ipdenwa » Thu Sep 27, 2012 7:37 pm

Hey guys, just got myself a 2012 Ralliart and also my Tactrix cable (on the way). Looking to do a tune up first based on the info some of you guys have already sent me (Thank you!). Moving up to the boost pill and then Mods! It's a great journey and am looking forward to the ups and downs. Love the car!

pssh shut up you :P just cos youre jealous!

By the way, I defintiely recommend the GST Basetune's for the RA. Although a bit of warning, they run a bit rich so if you know what youre doing it is best to lean out the fuel map a bit.

Hey Martin - good to see you on here.

Alex - which GST are you running? I'm running 30.006 with no (apparent) issues - even fuel economy is awesome (except when I get an SRi sitting on my tail :) )
- Self tuned - work in progress - tune revision #16_03
- GS 3 port controlled wooooot :)
- Lowered on Kings
- Black Evo X FMIC/ Evo IX BOV/ Depo HFC/ UR UICP
- Awesome self installed Alpine/JL Audio sound system
- Whiteline Rear Swaybar

I'm still on v2.7 Marc. But I run with a modified fuel map. 350km in the last tank :D yay thats a good improvement. Combination of city driving and some fun cruising up and down hills :P

What other Mods are you thinking about Martin?

Hey Ching, had the car for like close to 2 months now... finally got my Tactrix, did the GST Base Map and now probably got a speeding fine a couple of days ago as I was testing things out... ouch.

Next step is the boost pill! No idea where it is actually from the pix but I'll figure it out once I get it.

Hey Marc, good to be on board. It looks like fuel economy was pretty good once I started taming down on my driving. The launch from stop is still lagging quite a bit (but better than stock ROM). I just downloaded Evoscan so I'll be doing some logging and trying to figure out what it all means ... exciting....

Hey Alex, v3.0 gave me 400+ when I went for a long highway drive a week ago. Will see how it goes for the normal day to day traffic. As for the mods, the next step will be to go for the boostpill. Just that 1 second lag before the turbo kicks in during normal launch... have to do something with that ...
