hi! how do i DIY replace rear bumper?

Postby twofeet » Wed Aug 29, 2012 5:37 pm

Hey all! I've a 2009 ES Rally Red; and recently created a 2 x 2 cm hole in rear bumper reversing into a fence... and have been quote a crazy $1.5k to get it replaced / fixed.

Would appreciate direction to any threads on

1) DIY rear bumper replacement; and

2) where to buy a the rear bumper (already spray painted to standard mitsubishi - Rally Red color) and

3) approximately how much this would cost?

Thanks in advance!!

Try a wrecker near you.

A brand new bumper bar from Mitsubishi comes primed. No colour matched versions. Costs about A$600.
