I am a 70 years old retiree, not a typical Lancer CJ enthusiast. As we have downgraded to smaller car I found it necessary to make some modest modifications to the car we bought, hence me joining the club. I am a professional mechanical engineer with some knowledge of electrics. Over the years I have enjoyed working on my cars, adding and modifying things, including stripping engines.

G'day Thomas. As a new Lancer owner myself, with an interest in making some minor mods too (to start with haha), I look forward to seeing what advice your experience my have to offer up!
Welcome mate.
Welcome mate.
Old enough to know better, still too young to care.

So far I have installed a set of FOG LIGHTS that I bought on eBay for $129 (Australia supplier), a dummy CAR ALARM - a flashing LED that comes on only when the car is switched off (bought on eBay from UK for $12 including the air mail), and a CARGO NET for the boot. I plan to change the standard radio with a 8" display GPS, CD/DVD player, radio, etc. that is available on eBay for $649 (Australian supplier) and to install the tweeter speaker in the doors (there is provision and wiring already there).
