Real first name: Michael
Location: Newcastle
Model: my09 VRX
Colour: white
General interests: driving, fishing, mountain bike riding.
Current mods: none
Planned mods: not sure, hopefully you guys can steer me in the right direction
How you found out about ClubCJ: good old Google!

well as about my name is Michael and am a new owner of a white MY09 VRX with 13500 kms on the clock
i bought it today and get to pick it up on Wednesday.

it was for sale in a Holden car yard in newcastle for $28,000 i managed to get him down to $19,870 as it was Easter and they weren't getting many sales but had already reached there quota for the month. so i think it was quite a good buy.
What do you guys think?

as far as mods go, i want to put some type of sat nav unit in. do you guys recommend going for the mitsubishi one or an after market unit?

i also like the EVO 10 carbon fibre roof spoiler. are the ones off ebay alright?

Hey Michael,

Welcome to the club!

I bought my VRX new for $28000! Lucky you didn't buy yours for that price! I think the price you got it for ($19870) is pretty good!

I installed my MMCS in today. It is a great unit and has many specific features that make it great for the Lancer but on the other hand, half of the features become disabled while driving. I cannot speak for aftermarket head units as I don't have any experience in them, maybe ask someone who has one e.g. Mitch.

Hi Michael and welcome to the club.
You will find heaps of useful info on the site and a great bunch of Guys/Gals to help with your new CJ.
Check out the Pioneer AVH-P4350DVD D-Din head unit ...you will need an aerpro dash kit and if you want sat nav...you will need the hideaway box but still cheaper than the MMCS system. The MMCS is very expensive and pretty rare second hand i beleive. I have one fitted at delivery and personally dont think its worth the money. I just wanted leather and the audio system came with the package. Hope this helps.
Cheers

I just watched a quick review of the Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD....

Man it looks so much better than the MMCS.................
