Flying Ace wrote:Well I've been off the site for a while - but now I can finally say I (will be) a Lancer owner! My finance approval came through today, and I'll be the proud owner of a black 08 VRX soon enough. Will be trying to go and collect it on Monday. So excited :D

Awesome m8 !! - Good to hear and great choice of colour as well.. hehehehe

I'm at Caboolture/Morayfield with GlennoCJ, and there's Whiteknight on Bribie and a few others on the Northside, so we might have to have a North Coast Mini-meet up at Landsborough, or somewhere in-between....

Keep an eye on the Queensland section of the forum, as we have a heap of upcoming events and meets and cruises to attend... :) :)

Congrats !!

And Welcome to Club CJ!!

Awesome! Are you taking the LED's off the verada? Would look sick in the same place on the lancer

Won't be getting it tomorrow :(

I have to go to Biloela to get it, and while Biloela isn't flooded, a lot of the highways between here and there are. Who knows how long it will be now, I'm so disappointed! :(

Picked mine up today and I absolutely love it! One problem though is that the wipers have a bit of a fault in that the longer wiper (driver's side) gets caught under the passenger side when they're in operation, and it completely bent the driver's side wiper. I need to see if I can slowly bend it out so it won't conflict.

Apart from that she's gorgeous!

Gee I have not heard that happening before.

I would just take it back to Mitsubishi and get replacement new wipers.

The car looks great to, congratulations.

I got new wipers similar to the bosch setup, where you replace the whole wiper arm etc in one, made for the lancer. Only around $30-40 @ SCA. Should fix the problem, and give you a much better wiper
