Hi and congrats on the purchase.
The NRMA does not directly do anymore inspection. They will take the booking and use contractors. For non members they charge 269 dollars and for members 249 !
One of the contractors is a German guy who operates from Concord NSW.
I just bought a VRX 2009 and did not bother with inspection. Period !
Neither I pay the value of the dealer.............................................was with cash in my pocket in the right place at the right time.
Some other experience I had, in Spet 2000 purchased a Fairmont Ghia with only 47,000 on the clock for half the value. NRMA inspected it and said the car was as good as coming out of the factory.
Four months later the radiator cracked and was done under warranty......how did the guy not see that????
So, careful, things has changed in this planet and who can you trust.............
