Hey Paul and others. I picked up my VRX during the March Madness sales. I went to look at the Activ and test drove an ES as the Activs hadn't arrived at the dealer at that stage. I decided at that point that what I really wanted was a VRX. This is my first Mitsubishi and I absolutely love her.

Sure.
I am an IT Consultant (manager now ) and moved up to Brisbane last October. I enjoy long walks on the beach and candlelight dinners - I will also try to make a joke of EVERYTHING, which gets annoying (obv. not for me).
I've for some weird reason only ever owned a Mitsubishi (Mirage, Ralliart Magna, and now the X), circumstances have seen it that way I guess, and I've not really regretted any of them.
If I had it my way, I'd have a garage to rival Jay Leno's, but one car will have to do for now. And man, do I love her.
Mods:
TMR Hi-flow muffler
TMR Road/Track springs
Turbo XS 3" front pipe and high flow cat.
Ecutek tune - 208 AWkW
Just a couple photo's for now.

Be good to see you on a meet some day!
LVMA you bet! One of the most fun things you can do in a car IMO.
I'm not too far from the city.
As for a meet, I'd love too, I'll watch the events posts.

Have a look in the Queensland section, that's where the meets go now. There is one coming up next month, we may squeeze another in this month yet.
You missed a big one 2 weeks ago, 450kms of twisties!!
I agree that RWD or AWD would be more "fun" (with angle work possible). However it's not to say it won't be fun in a FWD either (I've had some fun in the wife's fiesta on grass - ahem, handbrake, anyone? )
LVMA is great for learning what your car is capable of in a safe and controlled environment (and have fun while doing it), regardless of car, and something I would recommend to everyone and anyone (there was a stock corolla when I was there last time).
