i only have enough for a es so thats what i have bough and as for mods... ... ... ... just dunno where to begin
things that i will do myself since i have seen guides in here are:
the folding side mirror
change front and back lights
and things i want to look for...
body kit that is somewhat like the vrx but different... if that even make sense
wheels to 18"... i like the Enkei GTC 01 but too pricey and dunno what offset for those
and alot more that i just dunno where to start like cf wings and brakes and so forth...
and i would love to come to some cruise and meets when they are up... would love to hear what u guys did when u first got ur cj

Tim nothing wrong with a ES.
Personally I think they are great value for money.
X-factor will have the mirrors and side skirt and spoilers. They are an excellent quality from what I have heard.
Other companies do have them but a lot are made of fibre glass that is not as durable. They tend to crack if scraped. They often are not moulded to the correct shape and have gaps around them when fitting.
I would not fit HID head lights as they are illegal.
Personally I like the black tail lights over the LED. But if you have the red then I would get the LED's from Ofey. Again they are a good quality and reasonable easy to fit.
Black out between the grills is a must. Make the Lancers that little more aggressive. Chrome strips surround look great. These are both cheap. Vinyl can be bought from a local sign writer and chrome strips can be bought at any auto shop.
Good luck with the modding.

Alot of people start with a panel filter because it doesn't void warranty(ish) and is easy to drop in. That being said it produces minimal change to your drive and is really more for savings in not having to get new paper filters regularly despite what the marketing says. That being said, some high performance cars (e.g. the FQ400) use panel filters which are claimed to improve HP with tuning.
