Re: Mitsubishi Lancer ends production

Sadly, but expected. Mitsu stopped selling the Lancer here in Bulgaria in 2016.

Re: Lancer ralliart Oil fluid at Boot lid

With such actions from your side you could damage your AWC pump. I highly suggest to bring your car to the dealer to perform the bleeding. That's the only way you can be sure that AWC system is in good shape, of course after changing to normal wheel. As Seb15 said, avoid filling anything different t...

Re: Lancer ralliart Oil fluid at Boot lid

You have introduced air into the AWC system. Hurry up to the dealer to perform the ACD bleeding before something worst happen. You can't bleed it yourself because this is electronic hydraulic system and needs MUT III tool to perform the bleeding. The AWC bottle has internal filter which is at the mi...

No, but you can measure the resistance on the connector with a multimeter tool.

Re: Evo X Recaro seats for RA

If you disconnect the battery before starting there should be no problem.
You should have air bags in the X Recaros. Previous generation evos didn't have air bags.

If you really don't have air bags, they can be emulated with a resistance, so that the SRS light will not go on.

Re: Transmission Swap Auto to Manual???

I know a person who has done that, but he also have MUT III tool. The mechanical parts are not a problem, however there are changes in the electronics and here is where MUT III comes in.

There are better aftermarket alternatives than OEM X head gasket.
Lancer head gasket is 2 layer 0.4 mm, OEM X gasket is 1.0 mm.
Good alternative is the Cosworth 5 layer 1.3 mm head gasket.

Hmmm 558 Nm seems veeery high for your application at that boost level.
Just for reference my turboed 4B10 at 11 psi makes around 300 Nm.

Rods are good for 14 psi of boost, however you will have to reduce the static CR by using a ticker head gasket. Evo X cams are also recommended.

Evo X hood and rear wing will fit straight away. Bumper parts won't fit as the X bumpers are wider. As for the exhaust, why you want to put X exhaust on a Lancer? Want more than one tail pipe or what? If you are looking for sound, that is not the exhaust you want, it's so quiet. Pipe diameter is big...

Money wise - turbocharge your existing engine.
If you want AWD - buy a RA.

It can be used, however it's too small in volume. I'm refilling it quite regularly.

Thermostat is a must!
Regarding the washer bottle, you can always relocate it in the trunk like on the X.
