Re: What drop in panel filter
Sorry, drop in don't need tunes. I just tuned as I had full exhaust, filter and high flow cat and gained about 20kw. K&N didnt really change induction noise etc as its a panel filter. The AEM CAI Im not sure if it needs a tune or not. Its still an enclosed box with a fairly stock looking intake ...

Re: What drop in panel filter
I had a k and n filter in my Evo X for years and it had zero issues. I also had it tuned with it and made 185kw on 98 octane. Then tuned on e85 for 225kw. I think to be honest the lean out would be rubbish as the panel is pretty much the same size. The car could cope with the extra airflow and adjus...

Re: Unused Plug
Check out this post I made some time ago about the factory camera. I don't think the camera harness runs all the way to the front of the car. I think you need a few extra harnesses to get you to the front. I think the join is behind the rear seat on passenger side. http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?f=...

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
Im not sure if they would fail this fast, I thought the upgraded clutches are designed to last a little longer and take more abuse. My SST with stock clutches lasted ages, 125,000kms with one fluid change and a tuned car for a few years. I gave it a hard time and knew nothing about all the little th...

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
Ok by the sounds of it the sst hasnt had software updated to the new improved shifts, pressures etc. They have just flashed the SST software from an Evo X to get supersport. If it was me I would contact AK racing, Evoscan, or Even Rp Motorsports and see if you can get the sst mod done. AK Racing and...

You might be able to ask the question here.

Great source of info. I haven't really felt my clutches slip, even before I rebuilt the sst, I was spending heaps rebuilding my broken motor so I did the sst at the same time.

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
No you dont set up like pass thru. Just install the app and off you go. The teach in is from top to bottom on the list.
It has great diagnostics, logging and also can clear codes

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
You can't break anything by doing a teach in. If it errors on anything you know there could be something going on with it. If they have a custom sst firmware on it maybe thats the culprit. Lots of guys are upping the pressures to much and causing issues. I have a build sst and mines running approx 5...

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
I always thought a teach in was meant to be done after a fluid change. I was having issues after my rebuild of sst, it was coming up service sst. I done a teach in and its been great for a year now

Re: SST clutch slipping or just needs new fluid
Has it had the sst mod done? Highly recommend it. Mine is running a firmware from RP motorsport. Ak racing do a remote install service. Also it can be purchased from Evoscan. I have a built SST too. Secondly if you have Evoscan and a Tactrix you can log clutch slip within the software. Maybe you cou...

Re: u1415 code when replacing instrument cluster
Maybe contact the facebook page MMCodingwriter and ask the question there, the users on there are really switched on with ETACs coding and the software can change the vin code within the odometer. Re: Replace Instrument Cluster
I havent ever tried to change odometer values, I dont think it can be done via MMCodiingwriter, I think its coded into the chip within the cluster
