Re: Unused Plug
That plug is used for the Electronic Latch, you can grab one with the electronic button from a wrecker and enable it in the ETACS with MMCoding Writer, no need for the entire KOS system to be installed. Pretty handy to have honestly. The reverse camera has a separate harness in the rear that goes t...

Unused Plug
Hullo everyone, it's been a while! I was replacing the tail lights on my 2009 VR, and saw this unused plug. It's on the boot lid, right beside the right hand light assembly. Going by the location, I am guessing it's for a reverse camera maybe? Can anyone shed some light, I would greatly appreciate i...

Re: What is a GT?
GTO is Italian for GRAN TURISMO OMOLOGATO (homologated) used by Ferrari many years ago GTS is GRAN TURISIMO SPORT HO in the case of the XY GT Falcons was an abbreviation of Handling Option. Hope this helps For the 3000GT, there's a reason for the GT/GTO nomenclature. The original title of the car w...

Re: Lancers and long legs
I was 6'4" before spine damage. I think a lot of it is that my knees are also messed up, so they're more comfortable extended. That's one reason I love my Commodore, the seat goes back forever. I'm not fussed about seat space for the back, since it's just my fiance and I (kids are just not an o...

Lancers and long legs
So. Out of the last three cars my fiance and I have owned (2008 380, 2009 Lancer VR, and 2010 Commodore Omega), only ONE has proven to be a good car. The Lancer. The 380 was dressed up before sale/inspection, traded it in for a huge loss on the Commodore...which is also sucking money. Dealer had to ...

good to hear you`re finally happy with your purchase Jonathan :) Thanks! I still have my Lancer, and I steal it from my fiance whenever I feel like having a bit of fun. She won't let me tear the CV transmission out and slap in a manual though. Didnt like the look of the 380 when it came out, like a...

Getting rid of my 380 turned into an adventure.
Last month, my 380 decided to have something else break. Before that, it had this list of things needing fixed: Lifter tick (had new lifters, just didn't have the time to do the swap, or the money for gaskets) Aircon leak, so no airconditioning at all The (nearly brand new) brakes kept making noise....

I've had a couple of idiots, but one that truly took the cake. Driving down Heaslip Rd (90km straight shot), came up on an early 90's/late 80's Barina doing between 55kph and 60kph (couldn't maintain a set speed). Witnessed the vehicle break the line several times, swerving side to side, erratic mot...

Did you hear about the Italian chef who died? He pasta way. We cannoli do so much. His legacy will become a pizza history. Here today, gone tomato. How sad that he ran out of thyme. Sending olive my prayers to the family. His wife is really upset; cheese still not over it. You never sausage a tragic...
