Re: UNDER COVER
Highly unlikely your car had the full engine cover as found on a Ralliart or Evolution as there is no need for it on an ES. It's to provide a flat surface for less turbulent airflow under the car at high speed. However there are two variations on the front cover, parts 5379A537 and 5379A539 . The fi...

Re: CJ/CF Lancer trim guide through the model years.
This is a really good article that showcases the changes over time (was also where I got most of my brochure pics from and really does what I was trying to do much better anyway):

CJ/CF Lancer trim guide through the model years.
Over the course of it's 10 year production run the CJ/CF Lancer has seen many different trim levels emerge. Some trim levels have been absorbed into other trims of the following years or remained the same but just had a name change. I've trawled the internet and scanned brochures to help potential b...

Re: Vic meet up end of April 2018
It was good to have a poke around in your cars to see a few more differences I wasn't aware of such as the foam blocks in engine bay, rubber caps on bolts in boot and sump guard covering oil filter. Now I just want to see a greater range of years and trims to see what is due to age (MY12 refresh) or...

Re: Vic meet up end of April 2018
1 day to go. I'll aim to be there a little before 11am but if you are the first just park anywhere, the car park is large enough we should be able to get a few spots near each other but it isn't so large as to get lost. Just look for the CJ/CF's. Hope the weather holds so we can get a few photos and...

Re: Vic meet up end of April 2018
At this stage it's just a social meet up to check out each others rides and gauge how many people are interested in this sort of thing so no real agenda. There has been the suggestion of incorporating the club but to do so you need a minimum 5 people which would mean the club would have to grow in V...

Re: Vic meet up end of April 2018
Not many replies so a bit of a shot in the dark here, but I agree a later time would be better.
New time: Sunday April the 29th at 11am. Depending on numbers we should at least be there about an hour so there is some leeway.

Re: Vic meet up end of April 2018
It is possible to set a different start time but we would need a consensus by at least the end of tomorrow (1 week out). Changing the time could have a significant knock-on effect as not everyone logs in everyday or anyone who could be going will post a reply and may already be basing plans around t...

Re: Vic meet up end of April 2018
2 weeks to go! Now's the time to raise any issues or questions regarding the scheduling or location as go time is fast approaching. Don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're all in the same boat as Club CJ is rebuilding. It will be a great time to meet the people behind the posts and have a chance...

Re: Replace Instrument Cluster
Old service manual so options may have changed: http://i.imgur.com/K49lgofl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/qiSCowPl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/sSe1LpXl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/sA5gmp6l.jpg I think all you can do is have doors auto unlock when put in P but you would have to manually lock the door.

Re: Wanted to buy MMCS version 1
Getting back to the OP there is also the option of downgrading to the non-mmcs Rockford Fosgate system, the 6 stack CD.
You'd need the air vent panel but it would be plug and play.
You'd lose the screen and some of the setup options but it would be easier to find second hand and for cheaper.
