Well no thanks to the useless dealer, I have found that the MM website is actually correct and there is an off switch for the sensors. MM customer care clarified it for me ... They install a small speaker in the boot space (its up in the top corner, hard to see unless you know) as part of the kit. T...

Just checked the parts list and a switch isnt listed. Thanks. So the dealer is telling the truth - its the MM website that is wrong. 2010 Activ Model reporting in. mine came as part of the new vehicle. but there is no switch in the cabin. I always imagined there would be an option for it on the cir...

My other cars (2010 Pajero diesel, 2015 Liberty 3.6R) have both sensors and camera. Faced with having only one, I'd pick sensors. Reason being is that you are looking at the mirrors / over the shoulder and using the beeps as a confirmation tool. Cameras tend to encourage just looking at the camera, ...

Genuine accesory reverse sensors - who has them?
I just got the factory reverse sensors installed on my 2015 ES Sport CVT Sedan. They were ordered with the car but were on backorder. Anyway they were fitted today and on collection I noticed there was no button to turn them off. The MM website says: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.com.au/vehicles/lanc...

Chrome garishes where side repeaters used to be
Does the chrome garish on the side of the front quarter panel (where the indicator used to be before it was moved to the mirrors) just pop out?
I want to plastidip it black. Or I might even chuck some smoked indicators in there (I know they won't be hooked up).

Swapping std 2015 wing for smaller one
So I picked up my 2015 Lancer ES Sport yesterday. I'm not really fussed on the height of the factory spoiler. Does anyone know if I could swap for the "premium spoiler" (Premium Spoiler MR936527) that used to be fitted to CJs without the need to drill new holes etc? I.e. just remove the ol...

I just ordered a new 2015 ES Sport - Platinum with CVT - so I can add my thoughts. Not gonna lie, the interior is pretty spartan and a bit 'hmmm' at first. But ... the price and warranty are what sells it, and the features are all there (Bluetooth, 7 airbags, 5 star ANCAP, etc) ... its just not 'pre...

Hi all, Ordered a new 2015 ES Sport CVT today, in Platinum. Optioned in factory reverse sensors, that's it. It's a runabout for my wife which it should do just fine. Looking to make a few changes - wouldn't mind tossing the little 16s and might do something to improve the basic stereo, but really no...
