As speedie said. Go and see Daleys if possible, there are plenty of other trim suppliers around that sell glue too but i will warn you now, the pressure pack can stuff is shit and wont work. I would definately not use it on a roof lining as gravity will take over very quickly!

The contact adhesive talked about comes in many brands but the most common one is Anchorweld. As said above you need to spray both the roof lining board and material and let it be almost dry to touch and then stick it on. ALSO, you should actually be giving two coats of glue to both the board & ...

Well done Graham. I don't know why you had trouble getting the board out of the car. We have never had any problem pulling the CJ lining out, lay back both front seats and then take it out through the front passengerr door opening.

Looking forward to seeing the pics.

If the standard seats are not good enough then go to a motor trimmer and talk to them about making the bolsters bigger and changing the shape.... You can easily make a standard seat look and feel like a recaro!

To add to speedies post, it is legal providing you are replacing something equal (such as airbags) but the seat must also be adjustable, so no fixed back seats can be legal even when engineered AND you must be able to use the factory fitted seat rails. If the standard rails are not able to be bolted...

Nothing can make suede stretch more. The only material that should be heated for stretch is vinyl, and if you do ever use leather then a heat gun will actually shrink it! Suede will stretch more on the diagonal then across the roll or up and down for that matter, you should not have any need to stre...

I have a little bit of knowledge about that sort of stuff, I would probably feed the wires along the sides and down the a pillar if I was to do it The leather idea sounds complicated with the gluing back on but it definitely looks good. Sure, images for parcel shelf would be great, cheers. +1 rep f...

The fitting of the lights is not hard if you have some basic knowledge. In that job i removed the normal interior light plus grab handles to make it alot smoother looking. As for the pattern you see there. Once the roof lining was out of the vehicle i drew the pattern on the roof lining, then cut it...

You would need just under 2 metres i would imagine to do the lancer lining. That roof lining had 4 downlights fitted, can only see two in that pic but it looked very good at night. It is done in suede with the pleated leather pattern cut into it, no point wasting money on doing the whole roof lining...

Suede can be purchased from a roll so why do you buy a pre-cut 'sheet' from a fabric shop? Go to a motor trimmer and buy X amount off the roll and it will be enough. The hoodlining will fit out through the passenger side front door once you get everything else out, a,b and c pillars, grab handles an...

The flutes (the lines through the middle of those seats in sections) are quite disgusting and if i were you i would not be getting it done, to add to that they are running the wrong way on the seat and it makes the seats look like they are out of a 1970's falcon. Personally i would boot stitch (wher...

Very Nice!

Pitty you didn't look at upgrading the interior lights but everyone who gets the hood lining and pillars trimmed always love it, plus it makes it so much more cosier inside!
