Damn, i see what you mean. Worst case scenario, I can always rip it off, and just get a new nose cone piece, which is what I wanted to do originally, just seemed easier to get the dealer to do it for me.

I was making some inquiries into the side mounting plate, and I was informed that it's deffectable if the front license plate is not completely parallel to the front axle or something along those line.
