Re: Fuel Cap Tight

My experience with the cheap one.. When it came, I fiddled with it a bit and snapped one of the hinges...Tried to get a refund however the best they could do was a replacement. The overall metal finish on it is cheap and is not consistent in colour. Installing it was a nightmare because it does not ...

Re: Custom Iphone Dock

@Lancer1993 My only drawback with having a dash mount would be running the cable, I'm a tad OCD about having a clean looking dash. However, I will look into a few different types/places to mount it. @aspir3 I'm going to try to make the dock as universal as possible Can always do a redesign/print in ...

Re: Fuel Cap Tight

Just on the alloy fuel door.. I bought one from eBay for about $90 non-genuine Too start with, it didn't fit properly and currently sits at a bit of an angle. The metal finish on it isn't very good either. I'm planning on painting mine black or just putting the original one back on. Genuine ones go ...

Custom Iphone Dock

I was thinking of doing a small project for my Lancer. Normally, the first thing I do when I get into my car is pop my phone into the little 'coin holder' compartment that is between the cup holders and gear stick. My idea is to 3D model and print an iPhone dock to replace that small compartment and...

Re: [Help] Do I need CVT Service?

CVT's are much louder than standard Automatic transmissions.
Its usually heard when just cruising.

But of course, not being able to hear the sound - it is hard to tell.

You've always got the spare 10,15,20A fuses on the inside lid of the fuse box in the engine bay, anyway.

Close call indeed! Gotta keep them eyes on the road ;)

I was actually going to mention fuses but thought others might have already.
Fuse box behind the glove box is simple to get too. Just squeeze together the two back corners of the glove box and it drops down. There is also a little position on the left you have to remove off a small clip.

I had a quick look at a wiring diagram, however, it says the Blue/Yellow wire is for headlights - which doesn't make sense. I'll give it a try tomorrow, with a tester and see how I go. Yeah I managed too thread the wires through the hole where all the other wires run into the fuse box. Yah, being LE...

Oh wow, thanks for that.
I was just trying to tap into a fuse, I'll look up the wiring diagram for that loom/see if it matches mine and split into that

Thanks a lot
