2.o valve clearance figures

Was wanting to chat with someone on here who is perhaps working in a Mitsubishi dealership or has had expereince with the 2.0 litre engine internally. Just had 90,000 km service done and when they checked the valve clearances they tell me the inlets are all outside of specs but the exhausts were all...

Dealer items and fees under "Miscellaneous" costin

Just asking around what people are being charged for items such as "Workshop Supplies" and "Environmental Waste fee" at their Mitsu dealer and what you think of these fees? Also what sort of hourly rate are you being charged there for labour?

Yokohama 205/60/16 tyres

Just wondering what sort of mileage members of got out of the original Yokohama 205/60/16 tyres on the CJ models fitted with these?

Up to 62,000km on mine, getting down to minimum not far away.

Anyone have experience with replacement tyres in this size that they have found good?

If you are only driving on weekend short trips then that may explain it. These engines as stock, run rich. And racking up all of your 1000kms when the engine is warming up due to short trips (as the engine runs even more rich when it's warming up) is going to make the oil turn dark really quickly. ...

I was quoted $68 for the OEM from my dealer. I ended up paying about $18 for the Wesfil one through trade discount. Good to see Ryco are doing one now, up until a few months ago they weren't. I rang them and they said at that stage they didnt have one, but obviously just a matter of time before they...

Just an update that there is aftermarket cabin filter available locally at most auto stores for the CJ Lancer and same one fits Outlander. It is a Wesfil cabin filter, code is WACF0090. This should retail in the $30-$40 bracket, about half the cost compared to the Mitsubishi part that I was quoted a...
