Re: OEM gauge cluster question
Moonman - thanks for the reply.
My car only has the hole without a dimmer control, is that normal for a Evo?

OEM gauge cluster question
I am thinking of getting an Ortiz dual custom gauge setup from the states. As part of the deal since the car is RHD, I have to provide the OEM gauge cluster surround. I have an MY10 Evo X. Are all lancer (non evo) gauge cluster surrounds the same or is the evo one different? Attached is a picture o...

Re: VRX Bootlid Holes
When I removed my wing I cut out some circles from matching colour vinyl used for car graphics.
With those on I had the chance to view the results without filling in the holes before I made up my mind.

Re: Mitsubishi recalls 500,000 cars in AU
What part needed replacing? I'm guessing that was the ETAC issue. If the ETAC issue requires a replacement you'd think they'd organise it before you took it in to get done. Correct, the ETAC is the part that needs replacing. If cars are coming in to have the part inspected/replaced you would think ...

Re: Mitsubishi recalls 500,000 cars in AU
Took my car in today for 2 recalls. One problem fixed while I waited with coffee for 45 min.
The second problem inspected and found it needed replacing.
Have to go back in a weeks time once they order the part in.

Re: Mitsubishi recalls 500,000 cars in AU
My car was just serviced by a trusted third party.
So I will take it to the dealers just to have the suspect parts replaced.

Re: Mitsubishi recalls 500,000 cars in AU
I just got 2 recall notices in the mail yesterday
One for the indicator and wiper stalks on the steering column and another for the control unit for them.
Anyone else ?

Re: Diamond - Painting
If the front badge is like the Evo one it is stuck on.
You will either have to dip or spray it or remove it without breaking it or buy a new one, spray it and put it on.

Re: topspeed pro1 short throw shifter
Be very careful of buying a cheap local item
I dismissed a more expensive name brand item for the cheaper version and ended up stranded in traffic with half a short shifter in my hand
Poor quality control on materials used.
