Top Gear Live coming to Perth - pre-sale tickets

Hey everyone, Just got this in my email. Thought I might pass it on just in case someone from Perth might be interested. "If there's one place we can always be sure the Top Gear Live team want to come back to it's Australia. As Clarkson himself puts it, "Australians get us and we get them&...

Just out of curiosity, does the smart key going out of range (after the car jacking) with it being in the owners pocket not disable the car?

I have a VR so not really clued on the whole smart key thing. Just wondering if that could be a safety mechanism built into the smartkey systems.

Reported stolen Blue Lancer

Hey everyone, just thought that I would post the link up onto this site from a news report on news.com.au about a stolen blue lancer in Toowong at 9pm last night. Hope it wasnt any CCJ members, but I just thought that it would be a good idea for members to keep an eye out for this car seeing that we...

I'm not too sure if this has been posted before but on the M3 northbound, about 1km after the 110 ends, there is a fixed speed camera on the overpass of the Logan motorway. As you drive past the bridge, look behind you and look up to see the cameras. To my knowledge they are not in use yet, but the...

I dont know if you guys have seen it, and I know that its the worldwide ad for Mercedes featuring an overseas model. But its the one where the grim reaper says 'I'm Sorry' and the guy slams on the brake. You can see the flashing lights on that and it actually seems to be a pretty good idea if thats ...

What do you do when you need to speak to the Highway Patrol?

Ok, heres the story. Was driving home towards the city on the M1 from Stapylton yesterday and was in the 110k section of the freeway when I noticed an old lady on an electric scooters riding on the shoulder of the highway in the opposite direction! Needless to say I wanted to contact the Highway Pat...

I had the same experience as Jim G. Got a call from (08) 62102310 and when I answered it was a Telstra reseller calling me on my Telstra mobile and saying 'our records show that you are not currently with Telstra'... :)

funniest one I have seen is a company rep driving a falcon with about 20-30 post-it notes stuck on his steering wheel and writing on one of them while talking on his phone...I was going past him on the freeway and I had to slow down to observe the logistics of such an intricate task.

Such a shame about this Blakey. I was driving on Brunswick street last saturday night, and was at the lights there with one cab in front of me when some drunk idiot decided he needed to cross the road 'over the cab' and completly walked on top of the car and across the road. Was glad he didnt pick m...

okies, looking at changing all my bulbs to LEDs now. With the map light, is there a certain directional type of LED that I can get as it seems to distract me when I am driving at night and someone switches on the map light to look for something. Basically, if the left hand side map light is switched...
