from all your comments, it looks like even with the non legal tint 10-20% it still doesn't doesn't totally alleviate the issue. I think I'll just go with the darkest legal 35% and move onto the next mod!

Privacy glass is well beyond darkest legal tint 35% light transmission... Go as dark as youre comfortable with the front window tints - but depending on how fussy you are will determine how noticeable the darkness difference is.
