Re: RA vs NA?

I'll go with merlin. Get a tune from him and maybe you'll post a higher mark than the 230!!! My car is a humble MY15 ES Sport. It has all the kick I need. Keep the rest in my rear vision mirror the odd times I've tried. Hit the go peddle right and your away, or, maybe the speed machine next to me, ...

Re: Thoughts on this RA?

Yeah, what's said above about transmission etc. I don't like the k's either for the price as the mods aren't that great, well to me anyway, so I'd expect it to be at the lower end of those price guides. If you are wanting a platform to modify I'm not sure this is your car. And agreed, are they reall...

Check if the SST fluid has been changed, that's done at 105k according to the schedule but should be done much more often than that. It isn't cheap so factor in up to $1k for that if it hasn't been done. Also the timing belt is, according to the service schedule, meant to be done at 100k. Chances ar...

Assuming they are performance mods ideally you'd do them before the tune to get the most out of it and avoid potential issues by doing them after it.

Has the rough idle returned? The hose off would cause that. If it hasn't there may be two separate issues as the hose off may/will not throw a code but its effects may lead to a code. Running lean is an issue, ideally you haven't driven the car hard when lean, your mechanic should do a compression t...

1. What Darryl said. If you are changing manifolds then wrapping is an option, but you will never notice any power or torque difference. If you aren't changing then forget it. 2. What Darryl said. If you like noise then go a cold air intake, that style will do nothing, OK the a CAI or panel won't do...
