My mrs was almost involved in a head on a couple of days ago when some jackass decided he had enough room to overtake on the highway.

It all makes sense now I read about this curse....

I use Zaino Z9 (cleaner) & Z10 (conditioner) at the moment. Works well and smells like real leather!

It ain't cheap but you don't need much. I'll definitely be looking for a better value for money product next time though.

just maintain your car regularly and have a layer of wax/sealant on it at all times , that'll do the trick +1, I actually use a sealant topped with a wax. Most of the paint protection packs have to be reapplied every so often (check the warranty) which you might as well do yourself for a fraction o...

Re: 15K Service

That doesn't sound right, all dealers should be using oil that is complying with Mitsu specs, otherwise they'd be voiding the warranty. If any of the cars they service, stuffs up, the dealership would be liable. I agree. Fact is their oil met some (if I remember correctly) of the specs but definite...

Had my 15k service done at my local dealer a couple of weeks ago. Cost me $152.35

I provided my own oil though. The oil they use (Castrol FMX) doesn't meet the specs noted in the owners manual

Check out Chemical Guys, I've been using their products for a while. On par with more exclusive brands like Swisswax and P21S but much better value for money. Also very easy on/off - Wash: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss - Clay: Clay Magic - Paint cleaner/polish: Prima Amigo - Paint sealant: C...

For the door dings consider paintless removal. I've had it done before and it turned out perfect. I'm very picky and a detailing nut but I still couldn't fault it.

Also, a professional detailer, not some backyard $30 wash and vac guy, may be able to do something with the scratches.

I'm into pretty much all motorsports (especially two wheeled ones) and am up for a ride for any reason. Struggle a bit with time though because I'm studying elec engineering externally and work full time. I'm a bit out of town, out on the Westbrook/Wyreema side Suppose I also ride a slightly abnorma...

What kind of bike?

Cheers.

08 Triumph Speed Triple for me, 08 Kawasaki ER6N for the mrs which is only her first "big" bike. Both have had a few goodies thrown at them, just can't help myself

Hi from QLD

Hi all, joined up a while back but only just getting around to the intro. I drive a silver VRX - late 08 build, 09 compliance. Actually, that's not true.......I hardly ever drive it (I'm a bike nut), it's mostly the mrs. Anyway, it will prob stay mostly stock except for some wheels and lowering. Pre...
