Re: Spare key fob not working. Any ideas?
does the car start with that fob? Nope nothing.... Has it ever worked, and have you tried using the physical key to start the car? by taking it out and re-attaching it to the fob. That should tell you if it is the right fob for the car. Like this: https://dashboardsymbols.com///2018/12/mitsubishi-d...

Re: Spare key fob not working. Any ideas?
Does the LED light up when you press a button and does the car start with the fob? Nope nothing. Sounds like the actual fob, either it's dead or not getting power. I'd try the battery from the good remote first. If there's still no life then remove the cover again and press on the buttons for the g...

Re: guard
If you're in Vic Imlachs have a champagne Lancer, not sure if the guard is still on it though. Search stock number: 1910230

Re: Where do you keep your car keys?
I keep the keys on the dresser in the bedroom, but I also keep a spare remote (without the key) in the garage in case I need to get in the car to grab something.
I hope they at least have 3rd party property insurance! If they had hit another car they could be up for thousands more!

Re: 2009 ES Sedan
Looks like a honest comfortable daily! But I have to say if you're repainting the wheel covers it might be an idea to find a set of factory alloys. They are pretty common now and can be had pretty cheaply and really upgrade the look of the car!

Sportback Spoilers!
hey all, got a mate who is thinking of buying a sportback ES lancer. so while I'm down at the wreckers I went on the lookout for a spoiler to make it look not so "hatchy". I know with the sedans there's a VRX high spoiler and a not so high option spoiler. But I never realised it was the sa...

Re: CJ/CF Lancer trim guide through the model years.
Thanks very much for the info, that australiancar.reviews site sure has some detailed info regarding the changes through the years.
Would anyone happen to have a brochure when they launched the CJ in Australia? The earliest I could find online was 2009. Thanks!

Re: Steering Wheel removal
Speaking of steering wheels, does anyone know if the newer design ASX wheel (roughly 2012) is a direct plug n play with the lancer wheel?? check the airbag mounts before buying the wheel. Had the same question a while back and found out that they look identical from the outside, but they used diffe...

Re: WTB under body splash shield.
