Tried the local locksmiths, they had nothing like it in their catalog.

Also I believe you need both factory keys to be able to program them, otherwise it has to be done by Mitsubishi

Thanks OFEY. My key is different to the one in the picture above, I've found those type on ebay, but i'm not sure if they're compatible with the earlier type? I've attached a pic of what mine looks like. Also I know the smart key features wont work using a standard key, but will the lock/unlock butt...

Hi, I know this is a Lancer forum but i'm having trouble finding any Outlander specific Australian forums, and I imagine technology across the cars is still quite similar. We've just traded our CJ in on a 2007 ZG Outlander VRX with the KOS key system. Only problem is the car only came with 1 KOS key...
