I ordered a pair of these a few weeks ago, $220 painted and posted to Sydney. They are a great fit and well made. All the work involved to save a few dollars isnt worth it IMHO.

Just one more thing, will driving with warning on damage anything until i fit the resistors?

Just got some led taillights from mars performance. Fitted ok but now traction control warning coming on 2 days after fitting. Says service required. Seems the leds has caused this. What can i do to fix?

Got a price from bodykits kingdom of $120 plus $100 if painted. They can post.

The ones from Talon are fibreglass but are otherwise identical. The abs ones would better as the double sided tape would carry less weight.

How much would or should a dealer charge to fit?

How do these compare to factory ones? Seems they mount with double sided tape. The factory ones have proper fittings.

a long way from $235. seems dealers make up the prices as the mood takes them. Cant wait until the the CK Lancer arrives the prices wil go down as they try to clear old stocks.

good idea but the lights on the boot lid (red lights not reversing) only have two wires going to the globe holder, black and black/white, which one is the live wire? I assume its the black/white?. the ebay unit has three wires, again I only assume the black wire is the earth. would it be safe to do ...

thanks Ofey. the units have three wires. red green and black whilst the car has black and white/ black wires. what should go where and what wire on the unit is the one that doesnt get connected?

why is it important who the seller is? these were a one off sale by a seller called HIDLIGHTS. he only had two sets of these for sale and no has none.


knowing who the seller is doesnt fix the problem does it.? its a case of what can I do about the wiring?
