Ok, I managed to remove the brake light switch myself. Does this look broken? Guess I'll find out when I pick up a new one tomorrow.

It's pretty much confirmed it's brake light switch malfunctioned after talking to a few mechanics, but they all wanna charge me $90-100 to get it replaced..geez!

Is it pretty easy to do? since they say will only take them 20 mins. Could someone please guide me how to fix it myself?

Hi guys, two days ago, I noticed my CJ Lancer ES 07's cruise control suddenly stopped working, then today the "service required ASC OFF" light came on as per image during driving (possibly from braking) http://i.imgur.com/2jrI1oXl.jpg P/S the cruise light will come on when I press the butt...

So how long in between should I change my auto transmission fluid? If I already been using the Penrite, any benefit to go back to the genuine DiaQueen J1? Dealer seem to charge arm & leg for it, and you can't get it from private mechanic. What's going price in Perth for full flush & fill?

Hi all, how often we need to change CVT fluid on 07 ES Lancer? I DIY mine at 134k with Penrite CVTV, now my mechanic recommended me to change at 147k? A bit too early you reckon? I did however find the transmission don't shift as fast when revving up though ...Should I go back to genuine you reckon?
