Depends upon how Hard and Fast that the Dealership or Warranty Holder wants to play it. We used to own an "Oh what a Feeling" and were told that the "Engines were highly sensitive" and that "1 kilometre past the service was a breach" Totally ridiculous statement by a Se...

Always be careful about running over snakes. A mate ran over a snake in his ute, but it flicked up onto the chassis rails and rode home stunned. When he climbed out at home, the snake stuck it's head out from the rear wheel arch. My mate ran, but he never saw the snake leave............................

Scariest Thing was those Two Grey Roos that hopped accross in front of the Wife's CJ, when I was travelling near Puckapunyal. As I lined up to pass to the rear of the Greys, the silly buggars then stopped and propped blocking both lanes of the road. Thank God for the Mitsu Brakes, and thank God that...

Re: Is it my imagination???

 will it bring a smile to your face when he gets your car impounded?? :P There are a couple of stories around about impounded Cars in Melbourne. Some silly Buggars have been known to do a burn out on their way out of the impound yard. But one Dopey Commodore driver, did a burnout, clipped a ke...

Re: Is it my imagination???

Seems like the Old Man does not understand Reverse Psychology. He should have told you to get a Black Manual, and you would have rebelled against him. Hmm a White Auto. I know that my Teenager will soon turn 18 and will probably borrow Mum's Lancer. He will kick your Toyota, your Honda and bring a s...

Ours is a Sports back too but I don't think that would make too much difference, maybe the Pocket Rockets are desperate for a Race. The idea of baiting them on the line reminds me of the Old street days. My mate had an unnerving ability to provoke the other drivers at the lights, but he also had a s...

Is it my imagination???

Why do all the Little Pocket Rockets with P Plates want to race me and the Lancer at the Traffic Lights. Seriously, I am a middle aged man ( with teenagers) who has owned my fair share of V8 Holdens, and heavily Modified Street Machines over the decades. There were plenty of times that I would have ...

Geez, I didn't even think of the Air Bags being deployed.

I spoke with a Nature Expert yesterday and his theory is that many animals may not actually recognize certain color as easily as others.

Our Red CJ was called Kermit in a Blender, but that has been shortened to Wonder Frog.

But we are getting concerned that it seems to attract Wildlife. Within our first 10 days of owning the Lancer, we have hit two birds, a Rabbit, and narrowly avoided a pair of Grey Kangaroos. ( Thank God for ABS )
