Definitely nothing wrong with following the speedo and definitely nothing wrong with driving slightly under the speed limit following the speedo.. but if somebody gets tailgated because of a 5km/h difference.. thats rage issues right there. Well if your speedo is off (like most cars typically are) ...

The GSR in the US doesn't come with the full sized spoiler unless you buy the aero kit package. The MR comes with the full sized spoiler as standard.

Evo's themselves aren't cheap, cars in general are cheaper relative to here when taking into account conversion rate. However to them, paying 30-40k for a car is quite a lot of money.

If you have a picture of the clip you're talking about it might be something I might try fixing myself.

I don't care if they say it happens in all cars (which it clearly doesn't) the other vents in the car don't do it, so it is obviously a flaw. Any logical person would say a vent which could be directed in a direction should stay in that direction. The new Australian Consumer Law (ACL), developed by ...

I bought my car last week - it's done 450km, I'd hazard to say it's not wear and tear. MY11 Evo GSR.

Funnily enough I noticed this very problem this morning. Only driver side vent seems to be the problem for me, the rest are fine.

I have coilovers on my current car and unless you're tracking it regularly and or actually going to change the height/damper settings with some frequency, it is just not worth the hassle/money. Coilies can have so many issues.

I thought you were going coilovers? Any reason for selling the sports and going spec r? I would imagine there isn't a massive difference between them to pay for removal, shipping and installation for new springs.

I ended up getting the spec r for just under A$480. Shipping was almost the same price as the springs.

I ordered my GSR with SST in late Jan, apparently it will be here early June.

Honestly - what's the difference between your 'experiences' and someone else' experiences which are backed up by references. Why should people take your word on things and not someone elses? You assume they don't drive it as hard as you? Don't take this as a personal attack but it's hard to take any...
