My mechanic hook computer and tells that the RR wheel hall effect has failed. Cable are not cut and look ok. Any ideas of how much co...

CJ VRX 2.4Litres Front and rear brake pads

Hi, have done now 74.000Kms and looks like it is time for brake pad change. Been everywhere I know and no one seems to say anything about a 2.4 Litre engine. Does anyone knows the correct part numbers for the VRX pads, or they are same for 2.o L engine? Bendix gave me some part numbers but Tynan Mit...

I got the letter from Adelaide, yesterday. My car has done 69,000 already. I wonder if I should bother??? I rather get my mechanic to do it in the next service, even if not free. I do not trust dealerships. I took my car to Midas since know the owner and service every 10K not 15 as the manual says.....

EPILOG Guys, for what I am about to tell, you can do two things believe or not to believe. After all you do not know me. The point is I do not want anyone to suffer what I have gone through for the past 6 weeks. You would have read all the messages above. What followed those has been two weeks of in...

Thanks, yes, you are correct, it is only a gap on the right side (looking at the car from the front). No, it was not a big impact at all. That is what I told them, how come that one side is ok and the other is not? Unless they just replaced the bumper without looking at other things or they do not h...

Help with Smash Repairs Lancer VRX CJ 09 2009

Hi, have my Lancer for repairing front bumper since it was smashed. The NRMA took me to a place and these guys seems to have difficulties with putting back the new bumper. It appears that there is a huge gap on the right side of the bumper but the other side fits well. Anyone knows the correct proce...

My personal experience with VRX tyres is quite recent. I could not afford Yokohama and was put to a place in Bankstown, NSW, and they offered me NANKANG for 164 dollars each. They said that this factory in Taiwan in owned by Yokohama and there is some technology transfer between them. I had the 4 ty...

EPILOG: The saga is over. NRMA: is an insurance company with high ethics and customer service, at least compared with the others. I rang them early this morning and upon presenting my case they sent an inspector within 2 hours. The car has now been properly fixed and I have it back as it should be.

Sebastian (SEB15), thanks :) Seen the video an is very interesting. Lots of things to do but not something that you couldn't with patience. What I am trying to understand and assess is that provided they did not missed anything when putting it back, then what could have been whacked or put after tol...

There is a gap under one of my lights bigger than the other. Behind the bumper there is a tab on each side that are a little tricky to get in and unless u know they are there it is easy to miss when putting the bumper back on. U can see them if u look through the fog light holes. Not saying that it...
