Finally got off my arse and changed it. Big improvement over the original oil. No more cold shift issues and shifts a lot easier when warm

I ended up ordering redline MT-85 GL-4, Hopefully its a big improvement over the standard Oil. I'm also having my injectors sent away and cleaned and giving the Throttle body a good clean.

Anyone using Nulon or Castrol??

I'm happy using 5w30. I kept an eye on the oil level over the previous period with out seeing it burn any.

Well i got my car serviced yesterday 15000, I took my own oil as per usual. But when i told him the weight 5w30 The Mitsubishi service person (Sydney city) told me that there had been instances of engine failure with low cold weight oil and Mitsubishi was cracking down on people using low cold weigh...

4 things i don't like about my vrx!! 1. The lower springs seem to be a miss match with the shocks. Leading to a skitish front end over multiple bumps. (Hurry up aftermarket manufactures and give me a sports shock that can keep up with the bumps) 2. Paint..........I mean really WTF??? Did they forget...
