Re: C2116 - ABS Pump Motor Supply Low Voltage

Your report is the first report of intermittent failure I have come across on the forums. You're not wrong - I haven't seen anyone else with the message go off as well - I was about 800metres from the mechanic I was taking it to so that the code could be read when the lights all went off. Pulled ov...

Re: C2116 - ABS Pump Motor Supply Low Voltage

Yeah mate in the ad it says $495 for the part and then $250 for labour to remove existing and reinstall the refurbished one (incl. brake bleed). If you want to send your pump over and have a refurbished one sent back and remove/replace yourself, it provides some details about that in their Gumtree a...

Re: C2116 - ABS Pump Motor Supply Low Voltage

Thanks guys - there is a place in Sydney that will take mine out and replace with one that they have refurbished and they say they know how to fix the part that fails in it - they then service mine and sell it to the next poor soul with the same problem that comes along.... Reports I have read say t...

Re: Help needed!: ASC "Service Required" Error

g'day toc - it did get a new battery a year or so ago - +5 years on original battery was doing alright I thought. Sometimes it doesn't get started for over a week and even then, most trips are less than 10 minutes, so it did well to last that long. I also recently changed the factory Yokohama Advan ...

G'day JustinR - nah chief warranty gone, 2008 MY09 - I doubt this could be included in the '10yr powertrain warranty' either.... She was Club CJ's first Sportback! Check out my joined date :D I have since found another thread about it the issue - seems a lot of other people here have had the same pr...

Re: Help needed!: ASC "Service Required" Error

Hi guys- going to add my car to the list of affected vehicles too sadly - ABS warning light and ASC off appeared on dash - cruise control still worked though. Interestingly it has since disappeared. . . Took the car to local NRMA Motorserve to get code read and sure enough C2116 - ABS Pump Motor Sup...

C2116 - ABS Pump Motor Supply Low Voltage

Comrades - I dig the new look!! I am writing to see if any one else has suffered the same fault in my subject title - which from research appears to be a reasonably common problem in '07 to '13 CJs   It apparently means that the ABS pump module has failed and will need to be replaced. C...

I realise it is a rebadged Chev/Daewoo/whatever, but the distinctive split radiator/intake grille, plus the headlight shape and design, plus the raised bonnet sections above the headlights are very CJ. The Holden badged version moreso as they have placed the Lion logo where our Diamond is in the cen...

I must say the new (ish?) feature that suggests similar topics when you want to start a new one based on what you've called yours is a really good idea. Can someone in the know please PM me with details as to how this can be programmed in - is it part of the phpbb software or something separate? The...

New Holden Barina vs CJ Lancer

Is it just me or do others think that the front of the new Holden Barina front has more than a passing similarity to our Lancers?

What's that old saying - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?
