theres no significant benefits to having vents and scoops and evo and RA bonnets on nonevo nonRA lancers unless something real serious is happening under the bonnet itself making you car travel at speeds enough to even make having vents and scoops functional.

^ club circuit is the one that rejoins the straight half way down the main straight right? Thats not a bad idea, reason being that last right hander coming onto the drag strip on the long version gets pretty epic; as in epic sideways (as I learnt in my previous car).

In my opinion, I think winton is perfect for us.
The track itself is more technical; more corners and brake work, and most importantly has a good amount of run-off area in the event of 'mistakes'. The pace is quite managable at winton as well.

Sandown is too fast and too many walls :)

Only costs $30 at the winton fun days, no timing included but a well organised day with sensible amount of cars on the track per session, flags etc. Timed event is around $150 with exe or Tampered, again; at winton and very well run. Sandown costs alot more, hopefully with a group this size we can g...

Id prefer a winton day as in my opinion it's a much suitable track for this group.

Just to throw it out there as well: Your insurance may not cover you on the racetrack.

For performance parts, any normal road as long as you abide by the law; the test further potential, go to a track.

For Cosmetic/Audio mods? I dont know, where do kids test that stuff today? Chapel Street?
